I actually broke a large modern tanker with one fish, hit it about 1/3 from the bow, setting was 5 meters i think, hit was 1-2 meters from keel at least, got the kill instantly but the ship continued to float for quite some time..
Had another large tanke who I could't kill with 5-6 torps, and my last rounds with the deck gun - she just kept steaming on in 4-5 knots.. tried to ram her even, but no succes in that either..
It kills you when you got 10 000 tons just in front of you and absolutely no weapons what so ever left on your tin can to kill it with
