That's the number of USS Pompano, Perch class, and it is with that sub and number how the "Pacific Aces" mod for SH2 started already a long time ago
In SH2 we also had the same "mirroing" problem and were initially limited also to the only two US sub models in SH2/DC, Perch and Tambor. Given the hull numbers available, Pompano was obviously spot on.
Oh, and I almost forgot: Boats were painted light grey only in late war. But your skin is very nice!
