Are you using manual TDC? I find it's hard to sink escorts with snapshots at zero gyro. Basically, the only way I do okay at manual TDC is when the escort or merchant doens't know i'm there, is travelling in a straight line at a known speed. Now and then I'll take a zero gyro snapshot, but it rarely hits. On the other hand, it's 43 for me now, and I'm filling all the aft tubes with wakehomers. Now that they've got hedgehogs, I've got to fight back. You've got every right to sink the b@stards.
