I have been seeing many people in these forums complaining about the current Sh4 status, I have read their reasons for that, I have mentally agreeded to a certain extent with them....but above all in my mind I have a picture: A picture of the good old Silent Service in my Commodore Amiga....a picture that slides into SH1 1.0 with some bugs and a maximum 256x time compression ...a picture that turns into the beautiful expansion disks and patches -difficult as hell to get here in Spain, at a time when no one seemed to know that the US did make something else than burgers and gas-guzzling cars-, a picture of a conversion of SH2 into a US subs game (after some 1000+ hours of work) and a picture of a looooooong wait until a new sim about US sims comes out. A really great sim, with huge potential.

I recognize that I might not be nowadays fully impartial. I'm not a just-arrived gamer who has bought in the shop for 40$ (or whatever) a DVD box with something called "Silent Hunter 4" inside, but.....I am VERY happy to see we have finally got to the end of a long way and have SH4 here.

Go on, those of you who critisize anything. You might be right on some or even many aspects. But I made the long and lonely "desert crossing" and I see what the present and near-future brings: The best ever pacific submarines game. And I'm happy with what I see coming!

I have waited too long to see this, just to waste my time now in whining about some bugs that will be addressed soon.

@Kaptain Phillips: I'm with you
