I can not say I have experience crash dive from minor damage. I have been hit and had some small bulkhead damage. I was able to repair it while at PD. Perhaps your experience there was something major wrong that you did not see?:hmm: |
My experience was quite a show, a single shell from a destroyer after he missed me about 10.000 times. I had some minor flooding and damaged hull, nothing serious, red line was 1/4 fill on a damaged stuff, and as soon as I dove to PD, i went to a, say, 1650ft or so, still alive... I'm not alone in this 'cos i read it happened to some guys in multiplayer...  |
In all reality the shell should have sunk the sub. I have not had this experience as you. I do not doubt what you are experiencing. I have been able to sustain the sub unless it was a direct DC hit. Also, I believe the sub damage is handled like the vessels damage. Hit points. I do not know the scale for hit points on the subs
