I do as general rule...
night TC max 1024
day TC max 512
in frienly waters I also use 1024 TC at day...
I notice when I go higher than 2048 frames on my map go from 60 frames down to 6 frames... Maybe a sign that the CPU cant keep the pace with all this background calculations... ???
