On the topic of French ships what is it about them that they seem to sail in mini-convoys a lot? Dont know if anybody else has noticed similar but whenever I come across them there seems to be another 2 or 3 tagging a couple of hundred metres behind and they're unescorted. I'm not complaining as it pushes up my tally nicely. Same thing last night in Bay of Biscay. Lookout spots a ship which turns out to be a large merchant with a small merchant and tramp in behind. Twas like a turkey shoot
