Well there's the geographic island of Ireland, and then there's the nation of the Republic of Ireland, which covers about 75% of the island.
Blair was talking about the islands of Iireland & Great Britain
Personally, I think God should keep out of it for the time being, there's been enough done in his name up there
On the agreement, it really is a bg step forward, especially seeing as SF and the DUP occupy the furthest edges of the political spectrum, and for a long time wouldnt even contemplate sitting down with each other. As this was going on, each party's electoral share grew, at the expense of more moderate groups. It seemed as if the people of NI would do anything for peace except vote for it. I hope this agreement shows that that has changed.
