Yes, I've (mostly lurked) on Bombs-away.net since B-17 TME came out. Some good dudes over there. I was beta testing for Microprose's 1942 Pacific Air War (The "AI patch", if anyone remembers that) and I asked them - hey would you guys ever consider re-doing B-17 2.0 with today's technology? Well, they did with B-17 TME. I like to tell myself that it was all my idea. (I know, and Al Gore invented the internet, right?:hmm: )

I still enjoy TME, even though the graphics are a little dated now, they're still not bad, and they gameplay and immersion rocks.

I finished B-17 2.0 ca. '91 - I can still hear the music - "Dadatadadadadada":rotfl: .... Finished a few tours on "Queen of the Skies" in the '80's. Have yet to complete a tour on TME, but I'm still working on it after what, 6 or 7 years? Says a lot for "replay value".

I still have my copy. I once got to play with 53 other guys in a massive convention bomber box.

I died early. The Focke-Wulfs got me.
53 B-17s at once? That must have been cool! Those damn 190's! Did your bomb load detonate? Wing root fail? Bummer...
