It was the same thing in SH3, and as much as I liked to have it in a in-game tutorial it's just to much information. Read the manual, it's there.

Wrong, everything that comes in text comes in sound. Maybe your using too high TC?

Wrong again..I've seen tons of it. Here is some examples of what I've
heard:
Pressure Hull damaged!
We have flooding sir!
Radar damaged!
Radar repaired Sir!
Electric Engine ready!
That and much more.

No I don't think they have. For example B5N(or is it Betty?) drops two bombs at every run and has a total of two runs, then it returns back to base.
