Also the US could try making thier cars more economical instead of the usual gas guzzlers. I think that would do a lot more for fuel problems than kicking out illegal immigrants. I fail to see how kicking out 11 million illegal immigrants will solve the gas problems. Sounds to me like an excuse to drop the hammer on the illegal immigrants. Hmm - Illegally in the country, and they should be allowed to stay why exactly?
ANd don't even get me started on alternative fuel sources. Nickel Metal Hydrid plants destroy the environment way more than the tiny amount of fuel they save - you should see the one in Canada - Everything is dead around it for miles. It takes 3 gallons of gas to make one gallon of ethenol - thats energy savings for you. Bio Diesel requires Palm oil in its production, so now we have Indonisia tearing down all their forests at alarming rate to boost palm production - just great.
Almost any technology besides Hydrogen is harmful to the environment.

PS. Incase you didn't know, it is impossible to sell an SUV over here now, so don't say anything about getting rid of SUV's.
PPS. We still live in a violent world, and yes, picking up a gun and putting ones self in harms way is the ultimate show of how you feel about your country or intended country.
