I don’t mind at all.
I use SH3Commander for most all of the promotion, award & qualification work. It kicks @ss, makes it to easy actually so I’m trying to pace it a bit. I only use the in-game SH3 system when I want to recruit new seamen, promote crew to warrant officers to Officer-sub lieutenant etc, only because Commander can’t do that. From there with any new boat/crew promotions are from within.
Trying to find a decent balance of experience and the needed qualifications along the way.
edited to clarify; Commander can promote seamen to senior seamen, warrent officer to senior-chief warrent officer etc., but cannot promote warrent officer to sub-lieutenant for example.
