I can't speak for Neal, but the reason I would change the offset angle between each shot is that I don't want my firing solution to get too old while I'm switching tubes and cranking the angle for everything all at once.

At least the way Neal did it, your first one or two fish are still pretty up to date with the firing solution. I could just be superstitious about those few extra seconds though.
