It's called Hyper-Threading.
If you enable HT, you can fool Windows into thinking you have 2 CPU's or 2 cores on a single die.
You can check for sure by your processor ID#.
Go to the Intel website. They have a tool that gives you a bunch of info on the capabilities of your CPU. I think it's called "Intel Processor ID Utility".
