I can certainly appreciate your frustration on this point. I still don't have the game, so I'll judge this for myself once I can test it. Though from what I've read, this has got to be, by far, the single largest gripe many people have with SH4 thus far. With any luck, hopefully this may get sorted out in time.
I remain hopeful that there is some bug or other underlying issue at work here.
