this is indeed so usual ,but:
1. deck gun is always an option even with such targets
(you might hit the ammo bunker:rotfl
2.then you have to surface .you will see 2 things first: a big flash of light
secund: the bottom and maybe heaven, but you atleast saw your target(s)
BTW: they will give you a big shell as a gift. if you are good they might give a full load of shells
