I can't be sure, but many numbers have been brandied about around here. I think the most we've CONFIRMED for sure is 600+, since that's as far as the depth gauge went. I think that was on a Balao, but I'm not sure. I've also read 715 around here, but, even if true, it's likely very rare.
Regardless, this is considerably more than what they've got so far (from reports anyway, I don't have the game). But yeah, this'll likely be one of the first and probably one of the easier things, at least if it works the same as SH3, to mod.

Probably not far from some of these numbers. The Gato did have a test around 300 feet. The Balaos had a test depth at 400 feet.
