OK guys, it must have been a misunderstanding. I would like to apologize for having offended
some people around, it was not my intention at all...but a have a strange mixture of latin
and german blood in me, and I see black instantly.
Let's get back to work, noe I would like to share with you mi impressions.
At first you are hit by the graphics...it;s beautiful. Be sure to disable though the
glare. You get the feeling that the game is a walk in the park...however, you will soon
discover that a U-Boot is much more maneouvrable than even a Balao. The subs dive like pigs
even in a crash dive situation, but once underwater it's a pleasure. Faster than VIIB..they
turn quickly and perform superbly. The depth gauge meter stops at 160 meters, but in a Sclass I found out that at around 60 meters, the pipes in the control room were bursting. I could not figure out how to use the damage control team....I am still working on that.
You will also find yourself in the strange position to learn again how to drive the sub.
They are bigger, heavier...accelerate slower and have great inertia. I tried to make a Uturn in Pearl Harbot with my brand new Tambor, and hit the pier in the process. The controls are somewhat harder to master than in sh3. There are lot more buttons and functions. What is
nice, is that no matter in what position you are in the sub (conning, control, sonar) you
can acces the functions of the other posts without having to swith to them first.
It took me some time to figure out where the torpedo settings and attack map are. There are
some bugs, but small, mostly graphic. The only thing that I personally thnk would require
some attention, are the sounds. They are...few than in vanilla sh3. Nobody says anything
even when you launch a torpedo..I sometimes look around in the zentrale to see whether
anyone is still around. But...sounds can be fixed very fast. Overall....it's completely
different than SH3 world. You find yourself just watching the sunset and the beautiful
waves. I have encountered fog....and guys. IT'S FOG...REAL FOG.

The smoke travels a bit fast. Ships sink beautifully. Flames from the explosions are
spectacular. The water is flawless. The clouds travel too fast even without wind. No fish.
Lots of american subs. Lots....lots of everything.
