I was on Guam in 1984 with the U.S.M.C. (3rd BN/2nd Marines) for the 40th anniversary of the islands liberation from the Japanese.
Best damn liberty I had in the Corps. Quite a party! We hooched at the Jungle Warfare School but, courtesy of the then Govenor of the island, we had plenty of transport to the main city (whose name I now forget

). My complements to the citizens there. Beautiful place.
