I loved
The Final Countdown. The soundtrack, the dogfight scene, the humor, it was awesome. I loved the look of the Japanese Zero pilots when they saw the F-14 Tomcats, or the survivors of the yacht when they were rescued by the helicopter:rotfl:.
"And naming this ship after Chester Nimitz, an
active-duty admiral...":rotfl:
But no, if we are to start
yet another "what should SH5 be like"-thread (

), lots of playable submarines is a no-no. It'd take an eternity to make campaigns, UI "skins", voice messages and sub interiors for several nations, especially if you plan on going large-scale time-wise, too, such as 1939-1990, or 1914-1945. That, or you'd have to crop it by giving each nation only one sub and generic interiors or something. Or, of course, it'd take many, many years to make and cost a fortune.
I'm all for British submarines. It'd make for a welcome change, and they saw their share of action, did they not?
