Truth be told, T2's really arent all that bad for what their intended for. You really dont NEED T2's unless your doing a submerged attack during daylight. I dunno about everyone else, but i usually close to less then 3000 meters anyway. I typically shoot from around 1200 to 2000 meters on those scenario's. So for me it really doesnt make much difference.
Besdies, early war is all about night surface attacks on convoy's and shelling unarmed or poorly armed merchants.
