If so I can head for my refueling rendezvouus with U-459 and do makeshift repairs there only problem is only got to do another 2000 kms!! Wish me luck!

Your options; - Fight it out on the surface.....then scuttle,
- Stay submerged till everyone is blue in the face from lack of air, then surface and scuttle,
