Played two trips to Murmansk (March and July 1943). Not much guarding and an empty harbor. On my first trip I sunk two meager Soviet towboats, that's it. During my second trip I found a large convoy leaving Murmansk - and got sunk by the escorts.
The mean problem in that area is the long daylight during summer - I reckommend that tours "up there" should be made in the dark winter times, but than again it's up to the BdU to decide this.
