...a couple of thoughts.
Have you selected "Use historical uboat dates" in SH3Cmdr?
Are you sure you actually chose a VIIC/41 when you tried the "Happy Times" mission? (I just did that and the default choice is a VIIB)
I suggest you double-check your SH3Commander folders, to ensure that the file structure is correct. It's SO easy to accidentally drop something into the wrong folder, or to have an "extra" folder layer somewhere in there! (I do it myself all the time!
)
If that doesn't work....goback to Step 1, and do everything over again SLOWLY, checking each step!
