I understand your frustration. I have no specific knowledge, but it feels to me like the Corporate Division of Ubisoft made an executive decision to delay the US release of the game so that the US and Europe/Austrailia would all get delivery of the game within a few days of each other.
The problem is that nobody told Ubisoft customer service that, so those guys are promising a March 13 shipping date when in all probability it will be a March 20 shipping date.
