Just so you'd know, I'm now in my 2nd patrol in a Type IXB (U-109). Thus far I've been an exclusive Type VII user.
Still in transit to my patrol area (BF14), but I've expended about half my torps and deck gun ammo thus far for about 17,000t.
My first patrol achieved almost 30,000t (thanks to 2 10k t merchants) but the "1st-patrol-no-renown-or-tonnage" bug reared its head...  |
Don't carry out any upgrades to your boat prior to it's first patrol
