That's the part I like less when I play with manual navigation. Stupid helmsmen can't keep the boat on course on surface when the wind picks up. With very bad weather it's no problem as I am mostly submerged and just surface for reload, but with medium rough conditions you have to keep an eye on the compass. As I use max 128 TC and the big 6 dials, I usually don't drift too far away from course though... With manual navigation it is very important to try to keep the boat on course otherwise after 2 or 3 days of cloudy weather you can end far away from where you think you are...
