SHII itself wasn't really impressive, but when the mods came out it rocked.
Aces campiagn & Pacific Aces campaign were the main ones i used but their were plently more great mods.

Another good thing was they coded SHII to play alongside Destroyer Command game over the net or Lan, nothing beats playing against a mate whos hunting you in the fog in his destroyer.

I thought they were going to bring out Destroyer Command II for Silent Hunter III but sadly that never happened. Maybe DCII for SHIV:hmm:
