That's weird. MkII appeared first in 1940, it was equipped with Hispano Souza Cannons like most later versions, while the earliest-MkI had Browning machine guns. But i doubt that Hurricane's armament is modified by the game. It probably uses cannon equipped variant of the airplane 'cause it hurts more
.
P.s. Those cannons were a mean weapon.
