Down go the 2 ships. I put on full flank and race up the port side for another attack.
Now I've got 5 torpedoes in their tubes (4 really cos i cant hit jack with the stern tube with manual targeting), 4 hours i reckon till daylight and a chickens**t escort. I take out a pyro ship at the back of the crowd..... still nothing!!!!!! Now I'm not complaining because plenty of his friends would have no problem sinking my ass but I do feel a bit embarrassed for the RN. Its not like he cant see me he's only 3000m away and conditions are perfect. At this point I decided to go to bed but tonight theres gonna be a massacre! Sweet revenge for all the times I've gone down cursing. Is this a glitch or are there really stupid escorts programmed in? I smell an Iron Cross  dont think theres enough tonnage there for a Knights Cross  |
I know it's rather impossible
but could the escort been neutral, a US Navy ship e.g.? That would explain why you weren't attacked.
