Neal says I have to do a bio or I have to clean the scuppers; my choice.
Born in Dallas, Texas (

) back in the middle of the last century.
Moved to Lost Angels, Cantafordya when I was two. (That's L.A. California for those not versed in "Old Sailor Speak").
Started playing guitar in '65, and bass in '67 (the Summer of Love, hey!

)
Spent a year at college in the hippie heyday.
Dropped out and joined The Navy in '69.
Got taught to be a radio guy and put on a Zerstorer (sorry, my keyboard won't do umlauts).
Got sent to the first 'Bad War'; saw the lovely Viet Nam coastline. Did fire support for the jarheads, search and rescue of the coast of Hanoi (searched a lot; never got asked to rescue anybody), played escort for the carriers Ranger and Bon Homme Richard (did pick up the pilots from a downed Phantom once, but that's a story in itself). Came back home to Long Beach. Got out on a special discharge in December of '70.
Moved to the great mountains of Utah in '71.
Got married in '73.
Got divorced in '85. Bummer, but I have two lovely daughters to show for it. And no, you can't have their numbers, so don't ask!
Been doing a lot of different jobs all along; never found one that stuck.
Been in and out of bands all this time; still playing off and on (mostly recording with a couple of friends).
Found subsim almost five years ago now.
Got one foot in the grave, but the other one still dreams about stages and spotlights.
I read at least four books per month, anything from mysteries to biographies, but mostly tend toward the great classics and non-fiction.
Love history.
Love planes and ships, and love to play subsims!
That's me, okay? Now go away and leave me alone!
