I've been able to repeat this problem by installing the mod incorrectly.
Make sure you uninstall the old mod (not just disable it) before installing and enabling the new mod.
The TLAM is terrain following appropriately. But, there's an issue upon impact...
EDIT: OK, what I said above about proper installation is just wrong. The mistake I was making was that I was copying the files to a location used by an older version of the mod (found in DW/lwami_mod, when the REAL location is DW/mods/lwami_mod). It's possible that the reason you haven't noticed terrain following is because you made a similar error.
In any case, the doctrine is working properly now.
