What he is saying is that PCI-Express expansion slots and PCI expansion slots are completely different.
PCI-Express cards will not fit in PCI slots. Totally different things. If you are stuck with 'regular' PCI, the best card ever released for that format was the
VisionTek Radeon X1300 PCI. If you want the fastest PCI nVidia card, the best option is the
3dFuzion GeForce 6200 PCI. But either way, you pay through the nose for such a 'modern' GPU running through such an ancient interface.
