I downloaded the latest patch from Ubisoft (yes, I hate the meshuga weirdos too...), so she's all patched up. Everyone would say GWX!
GWX is very nice and all, especially on the eye candy situation, but it's improved on the realism side too!
If you want all the good things from GWX, but keep the game a little arcade/kids mode style, you may want to try my tweak add on too! You may read about it on my site, but I would recommend you to try out GWX1.02 first!
If you find it too hard, then you can enable my GWX-TA mod with JSGME, which will change different things...
