About the translations; I agree it would be nice to have.
Here's the problem. I tried a few lines using http://babelfish.altavista.com/
"German forces at sea" translated to "Deutsche Kräfte am Meer" - OK
"Deutsche Kräfte am Meer" translated back "German forces at the sea" - OK
"Naval High Command" translated to "Hoher Marinebefehl" - ?
"Hoher Marinebefehl" translated back "High naval instruction" - Not ok
Just for kicks I translated a few message sentances and got back lots of inaccuracy. I can't imagine if I used that translator what the messages might then be actually be saying in German. Or the time it would take to verify etc.
So, I don't see doing the translation at this time. Unless I find better tools to use for accuracy, and the extra time to process multiple sentances and each preface. |
