Not at all, Flintlock! It took me a few frustrating minutes to figure out why that stupid popup kept popping! It is always eerie to me diving wrecks - even "artificial" ones, but especially "real" ones. It is quite the rush to do so. My father dove some of the Japanese Marus in Kwajelein atoll in about '71. Took 4 sake bottles off of one, which are now in my posession. Kwaj, Truk, etc... have been made "no take" sanctuaries since, but in those days it was legal to salvage 'trophies'. People still take stuff off of the couple of U-Boat wrecks around here. I am kind of torn - part of me says leave it alone, take only photos, but at the same time, some of that stuff can be preserved for posterity if it is brought up and properly preserved. I did not penetrate the U-352 wreck - doing so has had lethal consequences more than once. Any wreck is dangerous to penetrate, and U-Boats are notoriously so.

Regards,
Andrew
