melnibonian, I see. Heck, I don't dable in any of that nonsense anyway--Ok, maybe I did back in the day. I enjoy messing with games when I first get them.
But, I must pose the question: What is "full" renown, and does one ever really deserve it?
AHAHAHHA...do what you want with renown. I've decided to just stick with the GWX solution as I find that renown is involved in one of two things:
1) upgrades, which just make it easier--do you want a challange or do you want a arcade shooter?
2) medals and promotions--can you say ego? They only matter for your crew I guess, not for you at all.

Ducimus's explaination for renown, and that's typically how I "role-play" it. Yea, I role-play my SH3 careers
and I enjoy the hell out of doing so
