Verify that you have 3.06 installed first. It's here if you need it:

Then install the upgrade over it.

There's also a quick walkthrough of how to configure the installer to add the update in instead of doing it manually. But really, all you need to do to install either of these (models aside) is to copy and paste two folders (db and doct).
