Funny how in the 1950s and early 60s Verne was movie studio gold:
20,000 Leagues, Around the World in 80 Days, Journey to the Center of the Earth, The Mysterious Island, plus some of his minor works
Lighthouse at the Edge of the World, etc. Captain Nemo and the Nautilus made a comeback in
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, but in retrospect probably wish they hadn't.
