Yes, the NYGM v.2.2 added a wolfpacks. From the readme of NYGM v.2.2
"Wolf-pack Operations
We have included Sergbuto’s superb wolf-pack U-boats to a few selected convoys (between 1941 and 1943). Just occasionally, you will not be alone in your attacks on a convoy. You may even see newly damaged ships and a disorganized convoy!"
