I don't have Vista, but run the x64 Version of XP which has many of the same problems that Vista does in terms of compatability. If you're running a 64 bit proc and you are at least getting the installer to run and start entering your settings, be sure that the program goes into x86 folder instead of the programs folder (which only native 64 bit programs should be installed into), otherwise it can confuse the computer as its expected a x64 program and not a x86.
