In Poland there's a drink called "U-Boot" (and we use original German word, not a Polish translation of it; 'okrêt podwodny' would be a bit too long for a drink name). It's a half a liter glass of beer with a much smaller glass of vodka (may be also something stronger) dropped in so that they are not messed together. The more you drink then, the more beer becomes vodka. Marvellous, but dangerous, as you never know the moment...
