Only if you also select French as the in-game language.
Installing the Fix French mod only results in French messages and French aircraft, ship and submarine identification names.
This seems to be a common problem. I would be very keen to know what drives (non-French) people to install the Fix French mod when the installer says:

and GWX_INTRO_FRENCH.pdf and Fix French.txt are actually both in French!
Seriously, I'd like to know because if we can improve the desciption to make it clearer, we will.

Well in the excitement of installing GWX I installed all the mods along with it (as you do) without fully reading the descriptions. I just took Fix French to mean it fixed a bug with French ships or something. Maybe to make it clearer for those of us that don't RTFM
the name of the mod could be changed to fix language french rather than just fix french. Just a suggestion.
