Hold everything, I have a solution for you - I had the exact same problem, it is a Starforce issue and there is a fix.
I'm at work - I can post you the solution when I get home (in about 8 hours) - the fix is simple, so don't go running a whole bunch of antivirus tools or whatever (good advice for virises, kaleuns, I salute your solutions, but this is a one-torp job, no need for a spread
