It is probably easier to get spotted in lighter conditions...however, I don't think the game takes this into account because your lookouts have the same 'cat like' vision during darkness as they have in daytime.  |
Ok moon phase is not modeled, but just the moon in general yes (sub is more detectable if there's a moon)?
