What I did was use the academy for torpedos over and over. Used outside view to see how the torpedos run. How depth settings worked. Practiced over and over. As far as doing all the manual inputs. I do not do them. I use Weapon Officer assist. In my view that is what he is there for. Other than that if he is of no help then all he does is eat my ham and bananas I have stowed on the overhead pipes. You got to earn your keep on my boat
