Come on people, it's only fair that they get to have special toilets that they can crap all over and smear with excrement without having to feel some sort of 'sale de bains faux pas', or that they should feel obliged to tidy up for the rest of us who are civilised in this respect... after all when you're used to a hole in the ground and (if you're lucky) a jug of water to finish up with, who knows what you're supposed to do with that strange porcelain thing in the corner?
Sorry, but that's my experience of middle eastern lavatory etiquette at the best of times.
