No. Four destroyers under player(s) command, moving 1-9 grid crossings per turn in a straight line (vertically, horizontally, diagonally. each ship gets a range to the sub before and after it moved. sequence is: ship 1's move - sub moves one space - ship 2 moves - sub moves 1 space etc. Sub travels in a straight line, changes course only after being attacked, and survive. Ship needs to position itself on top of the sub to conduct one attack, which means: selecting one of three depth levels. If the attack fails, ship is relocated as many fields away as was it's last speed setting.Primitive for today'sS standards, but for an 11 year old boy - fascinating, all that blinking LED stuff and console-look to play around with! I played it for hours in a row, later started to use self-limitations like declaring dark areas on the map as prohibited waters.
