Yesterday night I got the attack periscope not able to focus any more and I discovered it when was approaching a convoy (stupid me - I haven't conducted the usuall checks at the start od patrol). Observation periscope was not working to (other unrelated cause).
Patrol results? 1 ship sunk (11k tons, large cargo), 74% hull integrity, batteries damaged, guns destroyed, periscopes destroyed, radio and sonar destroyed. Managed to get back to base after 11 days at sea... Uff.
