I'm in December 1943 atm ... I just attacked a convoy with like 50 escorts
Well, actually more like 6, but I sneak out the back and find myself with three of the buggers hunting me and no matter how deep I am I can't shake them, I'm at about 250m in an undamaged IXD2 ... so far been able to avoid their depth charges but I'm at flank speed most of the time trying to sneak past the constant explosions, seems unlikely I'll be able to conceal myself
Is there any chance at all of getting out of that situation? I mean, will they end up giving up after a few hours or once the convoy gets too far ahead? Will they run out of depth charges? I have a falke in a stern tube, could I kind of get nearer to the surface and just fire it off with no solution of anything? I've still never actually used one of them, at what depth can I fire it?
